Fair Didacta, the conference on small schools on 18 October

For the second consecutive year, Fair Didacta hosts an event devoted to small schools. On 18 October in Florence ( 2.45 pm, room A1, Teatrino Lorenese in the da basso Fortress) there will be the international conference “Small schools, great communities. The narrative dimension of small schools and models for local development”.

The event will be participated in by Giovanni Biondi, President of Indire; Cristina Giachi, President of the commission for educational policies and school construction of ANCI (National Association of Italian Municipalities); Alessandro Augusto, Director of IV – DGEFID of the ministry of Education, managing authority of the PON for small schools; Sabrina Lucatelli, coordinator of the technical committee for inland areas of the Department for Cohesion Policies of the Council of Ministries; Antonella Tozza, General Director of the Abruzzo regional school office (USR).

In light of the agreement between Indire and ANCI signed in June, the actions promoted by ANCI and Indire to enhance the relationship between school and territory will be presented during the conference. The aim of the collaboration is to identify needs and best practices in small schools and start didactic experimentations in different isolated areas.
