XXXI National Music Festival “Music unites schools”

On the occasion of the National Week of Music at School 2020, Indire organises online, from 25 to 30 May the XXXI National Music Festival “Music unites Schools”, in collaboration with the Minister of Education – National committee for the practical learning of music for all students.

A fully online event taking place on the Indire website “Music unites Schools” is going to host for the entire week webinars, live music performances and video contributions sent by student and teachers from all over Italy.

Schools will have the opportunity to share online the music activities carried out during the school year, with the aim to highlight the most significant practices of music learning and teaching.

Instrumental and rhythmic ensembles, choirs, soloists, dancers, body percussion groups, music players of schools of all types and levels are invited to send videos of their performances by 15 May, through the portal lamusicaunisce.indire.it.

The schools which will have submitted the most interesting contributions will be invited to take part in one of the initiatives organised in the next days by the national committee for practical learning of music and their videos will be published on the website musicascuola.indire.it, a space for reflection on innovative teaching practices for music teaching.
