DIA is an online data bank of images for didactic use, consisting of pictures from INDIRE’s photo archive. The images collection is also composed of the iconographic legacy of other photo archives, foundations, museums, and other public and private bodies. This data bank is periodically enriched with further acquisitions, and currently makes available, free of charge, an online archive consisting of more than 36,000 photos and reproductions. These images can be used by schools and universities for the widest possible teaching activities, for individual or multi-disciplinary research, and ultimately as a specific resource for teaching.
