The online university IUL – Italian University Line, promoted by Florence’s University of Studies and Indire, offers highly specialised postgraduate courses for teachers, headmasters and school staff.
The 1st level postgraduate course, “Role and functions of the school improvement consultant”, has come to its second edition, following the success of the first one. The course is designed to create a professional role able to accompany schools in designing and implementing the improvement process (enrolment is open until 21 April 2017).
Another successful course, proposed again this year, is the 2nd level post graduate course “School leading: quality and innovation”, addressed to those who want to acquire the necessary skills to manage a school. The course is organised with the Headmasters National Association and identifies and defines functions and responsibilities of the headmaster, emphasising the pedagogical and administrative responsibilities and criminal liability.
The third course dedicated to the school world is the 1st level course “Education and training: Pedagogy 2.0” which provides the necessary basic knowledge of pedagogy, psychology and methodology, with a special focus on the ethical responsibilities of the teacher (enrolment is open until 30 April, lessons star in May 2017).
Among the novelties of 2017, there is the 1st level course “Communication and neuroscience”, created to offer advanced preparation on the latest findings of cognitive neurosciences and communication epistemology applied to neuro-marketing and communicative interface design (enrolment open until 21 April 2017).
The 2nd level course in “Evaluation”, realised together with Giunti Accademy, provides course attendees with tools, good practices, and didactic material to deal with the entry, midcourse and final test in the subjects: Italian and maths.
The 1st level course “Management – Economics, Leadership and Digital Skills”, organised in collaboration with “Sole 24 ore Business School”, provides the necessary competencies to enhance professionalism in general management, marketing and enterprise communication.
Finally, the 1st level course “Welcoming operators and intercultural mediators” provides the necessary skills to work as a welcoming operator, offering solid preparation in legal, sociological, psychological and linguistic subjects.
Each course is made up of 1500 teaching hours and grants 60 ECTS. The complete educational provision is available at www.iuline.it/master.
