On Monday 15 January starts the second edition of “ICT Administrator”, the free online course promoted by European Schoolnet Academy, the European platform for the professional development and updating of secondary and primary school teachers.
The course is addressed to the teachers acting as contact people for new technologies in their schools and aims to create a European community to support their professional development.
The training course lasts six weeks and requires about three hours per week. Participants can access video resources, webinars carried out by experts and take part in activities, simulations and online discussions.
The main themes to be deepened are: optimisation of the school net and connectivity , BYOD (Bring your own device), models and services for cloud computing, e-safety and professional competencies for the ICT administration at school. The objective of this MOOC, besides professional updating, is to help teachers to solve daily problems through confrontation and sharing experiences and knowledge with European colleagues.
The course stars officially on 15 January and will be introduced by an induction lesson on 8 January. In order to participate it is necessary to enrol online at https://goo.gl/rG6Tbn
