“ Erasmus 4 curious” focus on adult education at the festival of Europe

A special event dedicated to adult education is going to take place in Florence as part of the activities that the Indire’s Erasmus+ agency organises for the Festival of Europe.

On Wednesday 8 May at 1pm the Impact Hub in Florence is going to host “Erasmus 4 curious. Ideas and networks to innovate adult education”, a morning event dedicated to associations, startups, schools and education centres on the territory, and to all the new realities where non formal education is carried out focusing on curiosity as a driver for innovation (via Panciatichi, 16).

In a rapidly changing world, continuous training is a crucial element to develop competences and abilities such as critical thinking, emotional intelligence, creativity and problem solving. Erasmus for curious is a workshop dedicated to all those willing to develop ideas and new relationships to build innovative projects for adult education and know about the funding opportunities of the Erasmus+ programme and the European platform Epale dedicated to this sector to incentive the exchange of ideas best practices and contacts.

During the event, organised in collaboration with Impact Hub Florence and Epale Italy there will be 6 thematic tables to delve into highly contemporary themes (digital competences, community engagement, inclusion, initiative, cultural professions – and a special event “Ambassador for a day” in the presence of Erasmus international testimonials from all countries, the #ErasmusAlumni who on 8 may will enliven events all over the city.

Participation is free on a first come first served basis.
