Aldo Moro between history and memory: the conference in Florence for the 41st anniversary of his kidnapping

On Tuesday 9th May, the book “Aldo Moro between history and memory, the case is not closed” by Maria Antonietta Calabrò e Giuseppe Fioroni was presented in the Indire headquarters in Florence.

The conference, organised by Indire and IUL online university, was dedicated to the memory of Aldo Moro on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of his kidnapping.

The institutional greetings of the deputy mayor Cristina Giachi and Indire’s president, Giovanni Biondi, opened the debate. Among the speakers there were also, Maria Antonietta Calabrò, journalist and author of the book together with Giuseppe Fioroni, president of the parliamentary committee of enquiry on Moro’s case; the journalist, Sandra Bonsanti; and Maurizio Ridolfi, professor of contemporary history.

Researchers, teachers and many students of various schools in Florence participated to the event.
