 The Minister Fioramonti at the opening conference of Fair Didacta Italy

The minister of Education, University and Reasearch, Lorenzo Fioramonti, will be on Wednesday 9 October in Florence at Fair Didacta Italy for the opening conference “School 2030: P as in Planet” (Main Hall Pavillion Cavaniglia, h. 10.30 am- 1.30 am).

The event aims to sustain the debate in favour of education to sustainable development bringing to the schools’ attention the Planet, one of the 5 Ps (besides People, Prosperity, Peace and Partnership) mentioned in the Preamble of the UN resolution “Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development “.

Rossella Muroni, MP and ecologist is going to interview the Minister Fioramonti on “The world beyond the GDP”.

Speakers: Vanessa Pallucchi (Vice President Legambiente), Gianfranco Bologna (WWF Italy, Club of Rome, ASviS), Donato Speroni (ASviS), Manuela Fugenzi (ASviS), Isabel de Maurissens (Indire); chair: Michela Mayer (IASS); Next, the IC Casteller schools of Paese (TV), the IC of Santo Stefano di Magra ISA12 (SP), the Comprehensive Institute, Bovino (FG) will present “the good practices that defend the Planet”. The entrance to the conference is free, but the teachers will receive the certificate of participation that certifies the hours of presence in the room only by registering online beforehand.

Fair Didacta Italy 2019

The third edition of Fair Didacta Italy, the most important trade fair on the school world is scheduled from 9 to 11 October at the da Basso Fortress. The event presents a programme of about 170 appointments: 82 immersive workshops, 67 seminars, 10 conferences that will take place as part of “School of the future”, coordinated by Indire and other realities active in the education sector.

The scientific programme is organised according to the different school levels to allow teachers to participate according to themes and school levels. There is also a 0-6 year-olds section and one dedicated to hospitality schools with lessons,  cooking shows and laboratory activities. Fair Didacta Italy is included by the Miur among the events of the multiannual plan for the in-service training of teachers.
