The loss of Giancarlo Cerini deprives the school system of one of the brightest minds and of a number of competences acquired in the school world.

I shared with Giancarlo the phase of the IRRSAE (Regional research institutions for experimentation and educational updating), where he was responsible for documentation at the IRRSAE of Emilia Romagna; he then continued his career as Inspector and we collaborated together for a long time on many innovation projects.

During the many years we worked together, he had also been a frank and reliable friend to me.

I’m going to miss you, and we are all going to miss you, Giancarlo, not only here at Indire but all the Italian school system.
