9th May, eTwinning Day 2021. The #ScattaeTwinning photo contest is back, together with other initiatives

On 9 May, as part of the events of Europe Day, the eTwinning Day, the European day dedicated to the community, will be held as every year.

Numerous initiatives have been activated at central and national level in all 43 eTwinning countries, to celebrate a new way of schooling through remote exchange and collaboration between schools and teachers.

Photo contest “ScattaeTwinning”

In Italy, for example, “ScattaeTwinning”, the photo contest organized on Instagram by the Indire’s eTwinning National Unit, is back. Now in its fourth edition, the competition is open to everyone, but in particular to students, teachers, school staff and families who want to give vent to their imagination using smartphones or tablets, and celebrate the eTwinning Day, with original themed images. The photos must be inspired by the eTwinning logo, recreating it in the most creative way possible, with a single image that must be posted on Instagram.

The competition jury will select the 13 most representative photographs, among the photographs shared with the hashtag #ScattaeTwinning21 by 30 June, which will be chosen to create the next official eTwinning 2022 calendar.

Go to the contest page and find out how to participate!

European celebrations for the eTwinning Day

The European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Mariya Gabriel will also take part in the official celebrations organized by the eTwinning Central Unit, with an interview on the community that will be available from 9 May in the section of the European portal dedicated to the eTwinning Day 2021.
