“One face, five cities”, a path on sustainable schools and communities of the future

Starting from 30 October until 15 April 2022, the Lucca-Massa Territorial School Office is organizing the workshop training course entitled “ONE face, FIVE cities” as part of the “Connections 2021” project, of which Indire is a partner.

It is a set of training proposals designed to deepen the connections between the school and the different identities of the territory: the technological (Smart Cities), learning (Learning Cities), eco-sustainable (Sustainable Cities), socio-ludic (Playable Cities) and inclusive (Caring Cities) profiles of the city represent the most directly involved aspects in everyone’s daily experience.

The initiative is proposed as a place for synthesis and detailed study starting from the analysis of Goal 11 of the 2030 Agenda, “Making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable”.

The training offer, aimed at schools of all levels, is free and divided into online, blended and face-to-face courses. Numerous workshops and lectures will be offered to deepen and rework the main themes. Participants will have the opportunity to compose their training path by aggregating the various activities in order to achieve at least one ECTS credit.

Three fundamental dimensions of school life will be explored: territory (open spaces, learning environments), community (system and content innovation, involvement of all actors), relationships (languages, inclusiveness, new skills).

As part of the training course, Indire offers two lectures, four laboratories and a national exhibition/laboratory.
