Scientix is looking for 200 new STEM ambassadors, applications open until November 23rd
Scientix, the community that since 2009 has been promoting collaboration in Europe between teachers, researchers and professionals dealing with STEM, i.e., scientific disciplines, is looking for 200 dynamic, motivated and creative teachers to join the Scientix Teachers’ Panel, currently made up of 849 ambassadors already selected in the current and past editions of the project.
Scientix ambassadors are teachers whose task is to support the dissemination of the community and the exchange of good practices between the various subjects involved in science education. In particular, the new ambassadors will have to help share activities at a national level and actively support STEM innovation in their country. This is an essential commitment to expand and consolidate a community whose core values lie in sharing good practices in the classroom and ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary skills to become science-trained adults.
The call is open to teachers from all over the world. The deadline for submitting the application is set for November 23 at 12pm.
The Scientix project, coordinated by European Schoolnet, aims to revive the interest of young people in a professional sector, the scientific one, in which the European Union is heavily investing. Indire is the National Contact Point of the initiative for Italy and in this role is responsible for disseminating the project on the national territory by selecting Italian materials and projects to be published on the portal.
