The final ceremony and awarding of the winning projects of the “Built with Bits” competition will take place on Wednesday 19 January from 5 to 6 pm.
The project took place between September and December 2021 and saw the participation of students and teachers from Portugal, Spain, Greece and Italy. The initiative, which made use of the mentoring training methodology, allowed participants to combine collaborative learning experiences and digital technologies with the values of accessibility, inclusiveness and sustainability, at the heart of the “New European Bauhaus” movement promoted by the European Commission. The project also explored the potential of immersive teaching using Mozilla hubs, an open-source tool for creating virtual environments useful in collaboration processes.
During the event, which will take place on the Mozilla Hubs virtual platform, the winning projects from each country will be presented; numerous speakers will participate, including INDIRE researcher Letizia Cinganotto.
