Inclusion of migrant pupils, the seminar on the European project KIDS4ALLL at Didacta

The KIDS4ALLL project, coordinated by the University of Turin and managed by a wide network of national and international partners including INDIRE, was born in 2021 with the aim of facilitating the inclusion of migrant pupils in education systems by promoting transversal skills for the full participation of all in community life.

The idea behind KIDS4ALLL is to support the right of access to inclusive and high-quality training courses throughout the life span (the three “L’s” in the name of the project are precisely for Life Long Learning), developing paths of collaboration between peers in formal (school), not formal (associations, libraries, youth centres) and  informal educational contexts (social networks and digital environments used daily by children).

KIDS4ALLL’s strategies, objectives and first results will be discussed at Didacta Italy fair in Florence during the seminar “Creativity and digital tools in the challenge of the educational context of migrant children”, scheduled for Friday 20 May from 16.30 to 6pm.

Starting from the study and sharing experiences carried out within the project, the speakers Alessia Rosa (INDIRE), Maria Filomia (University of Perugia) and Chiara Aliverti (Zaffiria) will guide the participants in a reflection on the role of technologies as tools for training that can be used in those paths intended to provide skills that are crucial today: problem solving and critical thinking, ability to collaborate and creativity, spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship.

The seminar is aimed at upper and lower secondary school teachers and Higher Technical Institutes (ITS). Participants will be issued a certificate of attendance.
