From 10 to 12 November, in Bratislava, Slovakia, there will be the multilateral eTwinning seminar Getting the skills for virtual collaboration in kindergarten, dedicated to the creation and development of collaborative projects for kindergarten teachers enrolled in the ESEP/eTwinning platform.

Early childhood care is one of the priority themes of European educational policies: this seminar aims to sensitize kindergarten teachers to teaching methods which, also thanks to effective eTwinning planning, are increasingly inclusive.

The seminar will allow participants to deepen their knowledge of the tools of the European School Education Platform/eTwinning and to meet other teachers from various European countries, with whom to start collaboration for the development of new projects.

Among the selection criteria, being a kindergarten teacher enrolled in eTwinning before 30 March 2022, having a good knowledge of English, the working language of the seminar and having experience as a beginner on the eTwinning platform. In any case, previous activity in the old etwinning.net platform will be considered (updating and completeness of the profile, participation in the community, search for partners, etc.).

Priority will be given to candidates who are beginners in eTwinning, who have participated in a maximum of one/two projects and who have not in the past already benefited from mobility for other European eTwinning events in Italy or abroad.

From the applications received, based on the information provided in the application form, the National Unit will select four Italian teachers who will be invited to participate.

Hotel accommodation and meals, limited to what is foreseen in the programme, will be managed directly by the Italian Unit, both for booking and for payment, while travel expenses, whose organization is the responsibility of each participant, will be reimbursed upon presentation of the original documentation of expenses and according to the reimbursement rules that will be communicated to the selected teachers. Only selected teachers will be contacted. In the following weeks, additional candidates may be contacted for possible replacements.
