Didacta Italy: the appointment with educational innovation returns to the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from 8 to 10 March 2023

The sixth edition of Didacta Italy – the most important and followed event dedicated to education and school innovation, aimed at teachers, headteachers and all school professionals – returns to the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from 8 to 10 March 2023.

In the three days of the fair, in addition to the exhibition section, immersive workshops, seminars and conferences will be held. The training courses will be designed on various topics, from the scientific and humanistic fields to the technological one, up to the learning space, while the programme will be divided into different types of activities aimed at head teachers, teachers of nursery, primary, and lower and upper secondary schools, the research world, and universities.

The scientific programme is created by INDIRE and coordinated by Giovanni Biondi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit, and involves the most important Italian and international organizations in the fields of education, research and training.

Among the many breakthroughs of the 2023 edition, we point out the workshops dedicated to new teaching methodologies. In particular, we will talk about the use of the metaverse as a virtual educational space, but there will also be insights into STEM, innovative school architecture and furnishings and the projects carried out by the networks Avanguardie educative and Small Schools. There is also a space reserved for motor education and the educational value of sport at school, a fundamental aspect in the developmental age for the complete training of the individual.

Fiera Didacta Italia is organized by Firenze Fiera with the scientific coordination of Indire, in partnership with Didacta International and with an organizing committee made up of the Ministry of Education and Merit, the Tuscany Region, the Municipality of Florence, the Florence Chamber of Commerce, Unioncamere, ITKAM and Destination Florence Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The complete programme of events will be published starting in January on the website www.fieradidacta.it.
