Didacta Italy, registrations for training events are open

Registration is open to participate in the training events that will be held during the sixth edition of Didacta Italia, the most important trade fair dedicated to educational innovation, from 8 to 10 March at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence.

Didacta Italy aims to encourage debate on the world of education between institutions, associations, entrepreneurs, teachers, and head teachers, to create a meeting place between schools and companies in the sector.

There are over 250 training appointments for teachers, divided into immersive workshops, conferences and seminars.

During the three days of the event, teachers will be able to participate in immersive workshops located in 6 departments. The first four are aimed at secondary schools, organised into the following sectors: humanistic, scientific, artistic, and innovative school libraries. To these departments are added those relating to 0–6-year-olds and primary schools.

The breakthrough of this edition will be a classroom dedicated to the metaverse, in addition to the immersive one, thanks to augmented reality. There are two events per day, during which teachers will be able to participate in a training course starting from a specific topic that will be tackled from different points of view, creating a sort of “disciplinary hybridization”, i.e. a series of connections between the various didactic disciplines.

To participate in the training events, it is necessary to consult the programme and select the activities of interest, completing the procedure with the purchase of the ticket directly on the portal, also using the teacher’s card.

The cost of the ticket varies from 14 to 25 euros, based on the number of days (from one to three). It is possible to book a maximum of two training events per day which can be: 2 seminars; 2 workshops; 1 seminar and 1 workshop, as well as unlimited participation in conferences and events of organizations and companies.

During the three days of Didacta it will be possible to visit a rich exhibition section with the main companies in the school and education supply chain: from the publishing sector to the latest generation information technology, from furniture to school meals. Numerous national and international institutions, scientific and cultural structures, universities, schools, associations, companies, foundations, and museums are also among the exhibitors.

Didacta Italy is organized by Firenze Fiera with the scientific coordination of INDIRE and Giovanni Biondi, in partnership with Didacta International and with an organizing committee made up of the Ministry of Education and Merit, the Ministry of University and Research, the Tuscany Region, the Municipality of Florence, Florence Chamber of Commerce, Unioncamere, ITKAM and Destination Florence Convention & Visitors Bureau.
