Student participation in school governance, the workshop at Didacta on 8 March

We ca do everything: practical experiences of youth participation and school leadership is the workshop scheduled for Wednesday 8 March from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Didacta Italy.

The event, organized by INDIRE in collaboration with Action Aid, intends to involve the participants in a reflection and discussion on the theme of youth protagonism at school in the framework of a leadership shared with the entire educational community and in line with the teaching objectives of civic education.

The workshop includes a first part of the presentation of consolidated practices and tools in both Italian and European school contexts; a second part, on the other hand, where teachers and head teachers will be directly involved in order to reflect on the level of democracy of their school and plan together actions and improvements.

Supporting the protagonism of male and female students in decision-making processes at school is an important tool for increasing their involvement and empowerment and for combating early school leaving and dropout.

Participation in the workshop grants a certificate of attendance.
