Didacta Italy 2023, a record-breaking edition

The sixth edition of Didacta Italy has concluded this afternoon, recording a record number of visitors (tripling compared to the 2022 edition) with a strong expansion of the digital community which on the second day of the fair reached 9 thousand followers and registered an increase in visits to official social channels up to +351%.

To the exponential growth of the starting data compared to 2022 (1,413 events and 342 exhibitors from the entire school industry) were added the thousands of visitors including teachers, school administrators, school sector operators, students, journalists, influencers, and bloggers who stormed the stands by actively participating in seminars, workshops, conferences and meetings. This demonstrated that the format of the fair is now consolidated and capable of responding to the ever more pressing demand for updating and training of the school world.

“We close this sixth edition of DIDACTA ITALY – declares Lorenzo Becattini, president of Firenze Fiera – with great satisfaction for the very high turnout recorded on all three days of the fair. It is here, in Florence, that every year, thanks to the teamwork consolidated with the institutions of the Organizing Committee but also with institutions, companies, creative talents, and the media world, that training takes place. The Fortezza da Basso represents the privileged place for the complete offer of new tools and methodologies for the school of the future”. “The extraordinary success of this edition – concludes Becattini – prompts us to continue on the path undertaken by preparing ourselves from now on for the next appointment that we will organize for the second consecutive year in Sicily, in Misterbianco in the province of Catania, from 12 to 14 October and for the next national edition which will take place here in the Fortezza from 20 to 22 March 2024.”

“The sixth edition of Didacta Italy ends with a positive outcome – declares the president of INDIRE, Cristina Grieco – which confirms the excellent teamwork done together with the other organizers. The success of an event like this necessarily depends on the quality of the interventions proposed, and this is demonstrated by the sold out registered at the workshops and seminars organized by our Institute. The Events gave teachers the opportunity to actively participate and to experiment with innovative methodologies and approaches on various teaching areas. This event is increasingly confirmed as the ideal place in which teachers, coming from all over Italy, have the opportunity to participate in training courses which have as a guiding thread the improvement of the educational system and didactic innovation in schools”.
