Educational use of cultural heritage

The research project is based on the most recent studies on the use of typical and atypical sources for educational research, and on the educational and didactic value of the sources in an interdisciplinary perspective. In addition to teaching history, it particularly focuses on promoting competence in the field of cultural awareness and expression, and on developing critical skills and digital literacy.


To analyse the didactic use of cultural heritage, with particular attention on school heritage and sources (tangible and intangible), audio-visual and digital audio-visual archives as tools to promote collaborative and inclusive workshop teaching and to stimulate a critical approach.
