Social Report for the Italian Education and Training Directorate of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano

The research project on the Social Report was born thanks to two synergistic elements, on the one hand the multi-year experience of INDIRE, gained within the National Evaluation System and academic training initiatives on the topic; on the other hand, the need of the Italian Education and Training Directorate of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano to set up a working and exchange group for the construction of a reporting tool to communicate the actions undertaken, while enhancing and making them understandable.

The Social Report is a voluntary process by which an organization communicates and reports to stakeholders on actions, results and impacts of its choices and actions in relation to the mission and ethical values ​​underlying the institutional activity.

Objectives

Creating a social report model that meets the social reporting and communication needs of the Education and Training Directorate of Bolzano from which to derive guidelines for the social reporting of the educational institutions belonging to the same Directorate.

Research questions

  • What are the essential aspects to highlight in a social report model that intends to respond to the needs of social reporting and communication towards all the stakeholders involved?
  • How to adapt the Social Report model created for the Italian Education and Training Directorate of Bolzano to the reality of the individual schools in the Province of Bolzano?

Recipients

Teachers, head teachers, students, stakeholders of the schools belonging to the Education and Training Directorate of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.
