Revision and reorganisation of school curriculum

The transformation of the school model does not only concern time and space of learning and teaching, but also the contents, the tools and methods.

Today’s school – characterised by a succession of lessons and environments designed to keep students attentive – is increasingly struggling to catch students’ attention and motivate them. In order to build competences and create well-formed minds, it is necessary to revise disciplinary fields: the encyclopaedic model, currently in use in schools, in an effort to encompass the complexity of knowledge in our society, increases notionism, and disciplinary fragmentation, whereas school education, and first and foremost our students need the opposite. Therefore, the revision of the curriculum and its organisation becomes a strategic line completing the innovation plan of the school model.
