Eun ricerca un Technical Manager
European Schoolnet offre a Bruxelles un incarico all'interno del proprio team tecnico

European Schoolnet, la rete dei ministeri dell'educazione dei governi degli Stati membri dell'Unione Europea, è alla ricerca di un Technical Manager da integrare nel proprio team tecnico, composto da 7 persone, a Bruxelles. Alla persona selezionata sarà affidata la responsabilità degli aspetti tecnici nello sviluppo di portali educativi.
Funzioni:
- Ensure the successful implementation and delivery of the various projects by the technical team
- Provide planning and budget for projects, based on validated scoping and requirements
- Translate the project requirements into specific objectives for the technical team members allocated to the project
- Take part in defining and implementing the technical solution
- Follow up planning and proper delivery
- Inform the project manager of the technical development progress, any problems encountered and potential risks
- Provide reports, in close collaboration with the management
- Act as a technical reference for the development team
- Improve the way of working of the team by defining and enforcing methodologies (development, project management)
- Develop a global vision of the data model used across projects
- Ensure a consistency of the technological choices.
Competenze tecniche richieste:
- Professional experience in a project management (minimum 3 years)
- Knowledge and experience of Project Management methodologies, e.g. PMI and software
- Proven experience of developing applications for the Web (minimum 5 years); experience in collaborative platforms and portal technologies is considered as an asset
- Strong understanding of object-orientation (OO programming concepts, UML, design patterns)
- Good methodology skills (SVN, ANT, Unit testing)
- Software development methodology skills, e.g. Agile/Scrum
- Excellent knowledge of Java (J2EE, Web Technologies, Portlets); knowledge of Liferay or similar portal container is an asset
- Excellent knowledge of database technologies (MySQL,Oracle)
- Good knowledge of XML and Web Services technologies
- Good knowledge of hardware infrastructures, software and licensing models.
EUN offrirà al candidato selezionato, dopo un periodo di prova di sei mesi, un contratto full time più vari benefici (opportunità di formazione, possibilità di telelavoro occasionale, buoni pasto).
