IUL, free webinar on CLIL’s Teaching Knowledge test

On Tuesday 10 March at 4 pm, IUL online university offers the free webinar “TKT CLIL”, realised as part of the advanced course “Content and language integrated learning – CLIL” present in the university’s educational offer. The event, carried out in English, will be led by the teacher, Sarah Ellis, Senior Manager, Assessment Services, Europe for Cambridge Assessment English.

The aim of the online seminar is  to analyse the characteristics of CLIL’s Teaching Knowledge test (TKT), a test for English language teachers committed to content and language integrated learning who are interested in teaching their subject in English or in another language (e.g. history in French or maths in English).

The webinar is going to show how the TKT CLIL can assess learning aims and results, and how the test preparation can encourage teachers to consider different aspects of teaching and assessment according to the CLIL method. Some specific themes relating to learning and support strategies (scaffolding) will be also examined as part of CLIL’s pathways for students.
