Four European awards for eTwinning projects go to Italy

The eTwinning 2019 European Prizes were announced, the highest recognition for teachers’ work on the European platform which since 2005 has put teachers and classes in contact to teach in innovative ways. The prize is awarded by an international jury of experts to the best projects of the year at European level, and is given on the basis of categories by age of the students and a series of special categories by theme or subject.

Italy stands out for its results: out of 860 candidate projects, it won 4 European awards for as many projects involving 6 Italian teachers as well as their respective European partners.

The official award ceremony will take place in the schools of the winners and during the European eTwinning Conference, scheduled for next October in Nice.
