Enrolment has opened for the 4th edition of Fair Didacta, the most important national event dedicated to school innovation which is taking place online from 16 to 19 March 2021.

Fair Didacta Italy presents a scientific programme coordinated by INDIRE and involves the most relevant national and international institutions of the education and training sector, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of University and Research.

There are about 160 events, including immersive workshops, conferences and seminars designed to address different subjects from the scientific, humanistic, technological areas, to learning environments. The programme is organised into different types of activities of interest for headteachers, primary and secondary school teachers, the world of research and university.

In order to participate in Fair Didacta 2021, it is necessary to register online following the suggested procedure by consulting the scientific programme, select the activities of interest and then buy the ticket directly from the portal, also by using the teacher card. Training and events will be available online from 16 to 19 March on the Didacta platform. The 4-day ticket costs 14 euros.

“We are proud of organising for the fourth consecutive year the most important event on school education in Italy, together with Indire and thanks to the precious collaboration of Didacta international, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of University and Research and all the other members of the Fair Didacta Italy organising committee. – Lorenzo Becattini, president of Firenze Fiera, declared – Training and didactics is a theme particularly dear to me which I consider fundamental as it is at school that the foundation for the future establishment of a country is laid. This will be a special edition before going back to the in-person Fair in 2022, an immersive experience completely new also for us, which will give us the possibility to support all the stakeholders of the world of school”.

Giovanni Biondi, President of INDIRE declared – “The 2021 edition, which we hoped we could have had in person surely makes the fair different from the other years, but for this reason not less rich in content. Despite the difficulty relating to the organisation of many parallel online sessions we managed to include 160 events with speakers of high scientific profile on themes relating to methodologies and tools used in didactics, school organisation, disciplines and curriculum. The conferences and seminars will give the opportunity to begin reflections and debates on the main and more current issues of the Italian school, and at the same time immersive training will be carried out involving, participants in the activates proposed by the teachers, as far as remote access allows.”
