ITS POP DAYS, the first virtual fair of Higher Technical Institutes, is underway

Every year, companies search for 20,000 graduates from Higher Technical Institutes, but they only find 5,000.

Therefore, the numbers of graduates from these real Academies of Made in Italy are still low. This is a segment of tertiary vocational education in which, thanks to direct contact with the production world, young people develop skills in multidisciplinary and digital technological innovation. An investment in the future that needs to be promoted through a path of information and guidance dedicated to young people and their families.

This is the meaning of ITS POP DAYS, the first virtual fair of Higher Technical Institutes, organized by Confindustria and Umana, in collaboration with Indire. A three-day journey that, from today until 7 May, will allow you to closely see the peculiarities and potential of these training realities.

Thousands of students and teachers are going to participate, in particular those who come from high schools, who will have the opportunity to browse through the virtual stands of 92 ITS Foundations registered, among the 109 present in Italy, and communicate with them live via live chat, as well as attend thematic meetings and webinars on training, work and the future of the new generations.

The guidelines of the Recovery Fund indicate training and youth employment among the first drivers of change and the PNRR has allocated 1.5 billion in 5 years to ITS. An opportunity not to be missed to promote the choice of Higher Technical Institutes as a lever to create employment and meet the needs of businesses. According to the Indire 2020 monitoring, in fact, 80.1% of graduates from these excellences of the territory found work one year after graduation, with peaks that reached 100%; and 92% found a job in an area consistent with their training path.
