Registrations are now open for Corri la Vita, the largest sporting and solidarity event in Italy, which after two years returns on Sunday 2 October with the race through the streets of Florence.

The Indire’s Erasmus+ National Agency will be at the starting line for the fourth consecutive year, with a spirit of solidarity towards an important cause, that of fundraising for the treatment and prevention of breast cancer, an element that brings it close to the values ​​of inclusion and solidarity specific to the European Programme.

In addition, the race takes place in the European Week of Sport and represents an important opportunity to create a solid link between the world of sport and that of education in a European key, which allows the experiences of the Erasmus protagonists to be known and valued.

For the 2022 edition, the Indire’s Erasmus+ Agency will create the Erasmus team, made up of students, teachers, pupils, professors and all the people linked to the Erasmus+ Programme who will take part in the charity event.

For the occasion, the “Erasmus Prize” will also be introduced, an award for the best ranked among the members of the Erasmus team.

On the day of the event, the Agency will also be present with an information point, open to anyone who wants to know more about the Erasmus+ opportunities, where it will be possible to receive some gadgets of the Programme.

How the 2022 edition of Corri la vita is organized

Participants will be able to choose between different routes for degrees of difficulty: one of about 11 km, dedicated to those who want to run, and a second of 6 km for those who prefer to enjoy, by walking, the cultural destinations along the way. Both routes wind through stunning and breath-taking views designed ad hoc to enjoy the beauties of Florence.

To this is added, as usual, the possibility of visiting, for free in the afternoon, many cultural destinations in the city and in the surrounding area, including museums and exhibitions, simply by wearing the Corri la Vita 2022 shirt or showing the donation receipt.

From this year to participate in the event, it is necessary to register on the site, as well as make a minimum donation of 10 euros and collect the t-shirt online or at the distribution points.

The purpose of the 2022 fundraiser is to provide support to Ri.On. – ISPRO-LILT Cancer Rehabilitation Center of Villa delle Rose; SenoNetwork, the portal that brings together all the Italian Breast Units and FILE – Italian Foundation of Leniterapia Onlus.

The five winning projects of the call promoted last January by Corri la Vita Onlus, all connected to the prevention and treatment of breast cancer in the Florentine area, will also be supported.
