The environment to support the training and trial period of newly hired teachers and tenured teachers in the 2022/2023 school year opens today, pursuant to Ministerial Circular note no. 39972 of 15 November.

In the coming months, and until the end of the school year, this environment will accompany the teachers in systematizing and consolidating all the stages of the path through the drafting of a digital training portfolio which will make up the documentation to be presented to the Evaluation Committee.

To place the training course in a meaningful framework, we invite all newly hired teachers to read carefully the Ministerial circular note no. 39972 of 15/11/2022 which provides numerous insights on the various stages envisaged by the trial year. In particular, the document underlines “the importance of personalizing the training course, in order to allow each teacher on probation period to make full use of the entire training offer in a coherent and concretely impactful way for their professional development“.

The circular note explains in detail all the stages of the training year: pre-assessment and final feedback meetings, the agreement for professional development, training workshops and visits to innovative schools, peer-to-peer activities, online training on the INDIRE platform, the evaluation of the path. The thematic priorities of the laboratories for the current school year are also identified together with national initiatives that can provide further assistance to the training activities of newly hired teachers. Finally, a section of the circular note is dedicated to the issue of evaluating the training and in-service probation period, which this year is one of the most relevant innovations in the process.

The Toolkit section is designed to provide useful information and tools for training proposed by Indire and the territory and aimed at teachers, tutors and representatives. This section will be constantly enriched throughout the year.

Throughout the year, we will publish on this website, the Neoassunti website and on the social channels of Indire, further notices, communications, news and insights on the progress of training, with the aim of guiding and accompanying all teachers in this professional growth experience.

The environment reserved for teachers’ tutors will be made available in the spring of 2023.
