STEM education: Scientix events at Didacta Fair

Scientix is the European community that promotes and supports collaboration at European level between STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) teachers, pedagogical researchers, policy makers and education professionals. Didacta Italy fair dedicates a space to this European initiative with numerous seminars that will give participants the opportunity to learn more about the projects and activities implemented for STEM education in schools.

Among the various topics covered, the ethics of science will be discussed with the workshop “The Three Rs and Animal USe in Science: Project Based Learning” and Phy6games, the web portal containing quizzes and games for studying physics in a playful way. Friday 10 March Elisa Filippi Lead Project Manager and Euronike Vice President will present “GIS4School“, the project that introduces the teaching of GIS technology in high schools and explains to students how to capture, analyze and manage the data provided by satellites to evaluate the impact of climate change on their city.
